1. Eligibility

To register as a member of Astarmatrimony.com or use the site, you must be legally competent and of marriageable age as per the laws of India (currently 18 years or older for women and 21 years or older for men).

Astarmatrimony.com is a platform designed solely to facilitate lawful marriage alliances between individuals legally eligible to marry under their applicable laws.

By using the site, you affirm that you have the right, consent, authority, and legal capacity to enter into this Agreement and provide accurate information. You further confirm your intention to seek a life partner and agree not to use the platform for casual dating or commercial purposes.

Membership is void where prohibited, and Astarmatrimony.com reserves the right to terminate your membership or access without refund if you are found ineligible, provide false information, or violate the Terms of Use or applicable laws. Match recommendations are based on your stated partner preferences. Additionally, Astarmatrimony.com may share information with third parties for promotions or offers exclusive to members but will always obtain your prior consent before sharing any data.

2. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your Astarmatrimony login credentials, including your user ID, password, and OTP, confidential and for preventing unauthorized access to your account by restricting access to your computer or mobile device. The Company will never request your password, and you are strongly advised not to share it with anyone. Any activities conducted under your account will be considered your responsibility. You must promptly inform us of any unauthorized access, use of your account, or security breach, and always log out at the end of each session to protect your account.

Any breach or attempted breach of these terms will result in the immediate termination of your membership without any refund of unused subscription fees. Additionally, Astarmatrimony.com reserves the right to pursue legal action, whether civil or criminal, for any violations as applicable.

7. Disputes Between Members

A. Members are fully responsible for their communications, whether via email, chat, WhatsApp, or any other medium, with potential matches. The platform disclaims all responsibility for any monetary transactions, exchanges, interactions, or sharing of information that occur between members, whether through the website/app or other means.

B. The platform is not obligated to monitor or mediate disputes between members and will not be involved in any resulting conflicts or legal proceedings.

C. As neither a broker nor an agent, the platform does not participate in or influence any discussions or outcomes arising from interactions between members and their prospects.

8. Content, User Responsibilities, and Platform Guidelines

All content on the platform, excluding user-provided material or third-party licensed content, remains the exclusive property of the platform’s owners, including copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary information. By creating a profile or submitting content, you agree that you are solely responsible for the content you upload, which may include personal details, photographs, communications, and any other materials shared via the website or app. You confirm that you hold the rights to the content provided, or have secured the necessary licenses, permissions, or consents to share it. Upon submission, you grant the platform a global, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, modify, distribute, reproduce, and publicly display the content in any format or media for the purpose of promoting or distributing platform services.

The platform reserves the right to remove or delete any content that, in its sole discretion, violates the terms of service, is offensive, illegal, or harmful, or infringes upon the rights of others. This includes content that promotes discrimination, racism, violence, harassment, false or misleading claims, infringement of intellectual property rights, or illegal activities. Prohibited content also includes materials that exploit or harm minors, distribute spam or unsolicited messages, or otherwise violate applicable laws or regulations.

Any content that violates the platform's rules may be subject to removal, and users who upload such content may face suspension or termination of their accounts without a refund of subscription fees. Additionally, the platform may initiate legal action if necessary, including civil or criminal proceedings, against violators.

Users are encouraged to independently verify the accuracy of information posted by others, as the platform does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or reliability of user-generated content. The platform is not responsible for any damages or issues arising from content provided by users. If required, the platform reserves the right to request documentary evidence supporting the content posted, and failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in membership termination.

The platform further prohibits the inclusion of personal contact information, such as phone numbers, addresses, or email addresses, in public profiles. Impersonating other members, misleading others about the source of messages, or engaging in activities that threaten the safety, security, or legal compliance of the platform will result in immediate action, including potential account suspension or removal of content. All users must comply with local, state, and federal laws while using the platform and are responsible for ensuring their actions adhere to these regulations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the platform be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from the use of the website, app, third-party websites, or services. This includes, but is not limited to, any damages related to loss of data, profit, or business. The exchange of profiles should not be construed as matrimonial advice, recommendations, or guarantees. In any case, the platform's liability is limited solely to the amount paid by the user for any specific paid service or package, and no additional liability will be accepted. Additionally, the platform disclaims responsibility for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, arising from the use of its services. The platform's liability, regardless of the cause or form of action, will be restricted to the amount paid for the service during the membership period.

10. Indemnity

By using the services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the platform, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from your use of the service in violation of the terms. This includes any breach of these terms, misrepresentations, or fraudulent activities on your part. This obligation of indemnification will remain in effect indefinitely, even after the termination of your membership or use of the services.

11. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

By registering for membership and using the services, you acknowledge and agree that the membership and all related services are governed by the laws of India, with the jurisdiction being exclusively vested in the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Any disputes or differences arising out of or in connection with the services shall be subject to the laws of India and the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Chennai.

12. Astar matrimonial services will not be held responsible for any incorrect or inappropriate matches resulting from the unavailability of profiles sourced from its affiliated websites.

13. Under no circumstances will Astar matrimonial services or its representatives be accountable for financial transactions conducted between members or with any third parties. Members are advised to exercise caution and discretion in such matters.

15. Mode of Payment & Payment Terms and Conditions

Astar matrimonial services ensures secure and transparent payment processes while adhering to the following terms:  Payment Methods:

Payments made via cash, cheque, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, PayPal, RTGS, or NEFT will comply with the prevailing RBI guidelines. Paid services will be activated only after the payment is successfully processed. In case of dishonored cheques or demand drafts, the user will be responsible for covering applicable bank charges. Until these charges are cleared, the paid services will remain deactivated or suspended.

Third-Party Payment Gateways: Astar matrimonial services utilizes third-party payment gateways to process payments through credit/debit cards or other payment methods.

High-Value Transactions: For packages valued at ₹2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Only) and above, users are required to provide their Permanent Account Number (PAN) or submit Form 60/61 as per the Income Tax Act, 1961, and its associated rules.

By proceeding with any payment, users agree to abide by these terms to ensure a seamless and compliant transaction experience.

16. Refund and Assignment

(i) All payments made by any Astar matrimonial services member for membership, renewal fees, or auto- renewals are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

(ii) Astar matrimonial services membership is strictly personal and cannot be transferred or assigned to any other individual or entity. Any attempt to transfer membership will be considered a breach of the terms, and Astar matrimonial services reserves the right to take appropriate action in such cases.

(iii) Once payment is made for Astar matrimonial services services, it cannot be transferred to another person or entity, nor can it be adjusted towards any other product, service, or package offered by the company.

17.Update or Renewal

At Astar matrimonial services, we strive to ensure uninterrupted service by automatically renewing all paid memberships before their expiry. This convenient feature helps members continue accessing premium benefits without disruption.

When you subscribe to a paid membership, it is understood that your membership will automatically renew upon expiration for the same duration and at the last applicable price unless canceled beforehand.

All membership packages have a maximum tenure of 12 months. Once the validity period of a package ends, it will be subject to renewal in line with its original terms.

18. Membership Packages

(i) Service and Package Names: The table is structured to display three service tiers:
Basic Plan (Starter): Designed for beginners or those with limited requirements.
Premium Plan (ProMatch): Offers enhanced access for more serious seekers.
Elite Plan (Astar Elite): A premium offering for those seeking exclusive, high-value matches.

(ii) Duration Options: Each package is available in two durations:
3 Months: Ideal for short-term use or trial.
6 Months: A cost-effective choice for extended use.

(iii) Pricing (in INR):
The Basic Plan is the most affordable, priced at ₹2,000 for 3 months and ₹3,000 for 6 months.
The Premium Plan costs ₹5,000 for 3 months and ₹7,500 for 6 months, reflecting its superior features.
The Elite Plan is a high-end option, priced at ₹20,000 for 3 months and ₹30,000 for 6 months.

(iv) Features:
Basic Plan: Allows access to 5 profiles per month, totaling 15 profiles in 3 months and 30 profiles in 6 months.
Premium Plan: Provides 25 profiles per month, resulting in 75 profiles over 3 months and 150 profiles over 6 months.
Elite Plan: Grants an extensive access of 50 profiles per month, amounting to 150 profiles in 3 months and 300 profiles in 6 months.

(v) The Services package names, Features, pricing, duration and all can be changed whenever by the Admin.
